Installing the pHishGard™
The pHionics pHishgard™ is a device that easily slips over the electrode and provides additional protection from large fish scraping or otherwise damaging the electrode tip with their fins. It works by expanding and contracting at the top via handles, similar to scissors. This allows the pHishgard™ to lock in the groove at the top of the sensor and stay securely in place when force is applied from any direction.
Installation Instructions
1. Place pHishgard™ over electrode end of the sensor, bottom first.
2. Squeeze pHishgard™ at handles to expand the top over the sensor.
3. While squeezing, align top of pHishgard™ with the sensor groove, then release.
4. The side opposite the handles may not be fully in the groove. If so, press down on that side to pop into place.

STs Series Sensor Storage
STs Series sensors are constructed from high-quality, durable materials that can be stored for long periods of time. The only weak point is the electrode, which can be damaged or expire during storage in the wrong conditions. These conditions vary depending on the type of electrode, which is why we have different storage instructions for each sensor.
